    YIKES!!!

If anyone really wants it, check the other binding options: hardcover. There is one available that is only $10.07. Cami, I hope you catch this. I will send you a PM as well.

It can't be a typo since these are two different sellers--one in Arkansas and the other in Colorado. Although I guess one could have made the typo and then the other person copied it (unknowingly) so they'd have the same price.

I just can't imagine a book like that going for that kind of price. It is even crazier than the $100+ Samantha and the Missing Pearls short story on e-Bay.

I wish I had known that these things were somewhat valuable (not the price listed there!) I found two at half price books that were autographed for $3 each... but didn't get them since I was looking for the historical character mysteries and had only vaguely heard of these.

If I hadn't stumbled across [ame="http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/1562471449/qid=1140466763/sr=1-6/ref=sr_1_0_6/302-5570819-5416012"]this AG book yesterday[/ame] I would have thought that's the highest I had ever seen, but I can top it. [ame="http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/tg/detail/offer-listing/-/1562471449/all/ref=ufu_lmi_/302-5570819-5416012"]There are two offers: one converts to $ 1,329.36 and the second to $ 1,342.80 [/ame]

I would know better things to buy for that amount of money. But to each his/her own.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">A list of all the History Mysteries. 21 is the insanely priced one. If any of these are wrong, please let me know.:

    1. The Smuggler?s Treasure
    2. Hoofbeats of Danger
    3. The Night Flyers
    4. Voices at Whisper Bend
    5. Secrets on 26th Street
    6. Mystery of the Dark Tower

    18. The Strange Case of Baby H
    19. Danger at the Wild West Show
    20. Gangsters at the Grand Atlantic
    21. Ghost Light on the Graveyard Shoal
    22. Betrayal at Cross Creek

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Melissa already pointed out the hardback.

Thanks for the info Melissa, I'm really debating if I should get it (that is if it's still there, I've been cleaning all day), I like my books to look the same and I've already got 6 of these in paperback. But if my B&N and Borders stores don't have a copy of this one when I go tomorrow to get the 3 new Historical Mysteries, I might get the hardback just to make sure I have the book. It would bug me more to have the other 21 and not this one than to have this one looking different.

Miki's find is also insane. I can't imagine why anyone would think a person would desire to spend anywhere near so much money on any type of AG BOOK. I'd be surprised to see a doll that was around for 2 months, and then retired, sell for as much as the Addy Craft Set is being offered at.

I think it'll be fun to watch these items. Surely they *wont* sell, and the sellers will have to lower the prices. Something is only worth how much another person will pay for it.
